Ishola Sues For Peace In New Year, Drums Support For Dapo Abiodun
A one time Abeokuta North House of Assembly aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr Tajhdeen Olalekan Ishola, has congratulated Nigerians, most especially the people of Abeokuta North and Ogun State for witnessing the new year 2019 celebration.
The APC stalwart enjoined the people of Ogun State to live in peace with their neighbours. He noted that it was only in unity and love that prosperity can thrive.
This was contained in a statement made available by his media consultant, Muhammed Moshood, on Monday in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.
Engr Ishola while appreciating the party faithful over the goodwill messages that greeted his appointment into the Prince Dapo Abiodun Campaign Organization as State Assistant Director of Empowerment and Human Capital, re-affirms support for the APC.
He stated that he would work for the victory of APC because he believed in the ideology of the party.
The statement read “Engr Ishola says he remains a member of the All Progressives Congress and wholly support the nomination of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the governorship candidate of the party in Ogun state, adding that APC will deliver on its manifestoes and ensure prosperity of the people.”
He however called on aggrieved members of the party to eschew politics of bitterness and join hands with all the party’s candidates to ensure the imminent success of the party at the polls in the 2019 elections.
According to the statement, “Irorun Movement under the leadership of Engr Ishola in a couple of days will roll out activities to sell the candidature of Prince Dapo Abiodun to people of Abeokuta North, his primary constituency and every part of the state. This will be without excluding any candidate of the APC in the next general elections.”
Engr Ishola who had earlier been appointed the Director of Inter Party Relations & Reconciliations of the APC in Abeokuta North LG, appealed to the people to continue to support the party, noting that his party would deliver on its electoral promises.
He therefore called for a modest celebration of the festivity devoid of violence under whatever guise.a
