A Big Thank You To Voters, Election Team, Rivals – ADEJOHN
The Advanced Allied Party (AAP) governorship candidate, Prince John Adegbola yesterday appreciate all volunteers, supporters who came forward to assist with his campaign most especially on the election day.
Many of you spent hundreds of hours contributing to the campaign and I sincerely thank each of you.
Adegbola, in a release he personally signed and made across to his supporters tagged “WE LOST, YET WON”
He said “I appreciate all those who believed in our vision and stood by us through the eventful 2019 gubernatorial race. I also appreciate those who dropped off along the journey and those who sold out.”
We lost, yet won! We lost the race but won the in the hearts of those who love us, we won hope for our generation, we won with a strong statement demystifying exclusion of my generation from top offices in the country and ultimately, we won by raising an army of men and women ignorant of the obstacles presented by our present pseudo democracy and the class above us.
He insisted that “The vision lives on! We are here to stay and will be retooling for the next dispensation. We have learnt great lessons and will be put to good use. In the coming months, we will announce our next plan of action and engagement. We must keep playing our part to make our world a better place than it is met.”
Thank you for the confidence reposed in me and hopeful that you will heed my call again whenever needed. The vision to place Ogun State on a path towards self sufficiency lives on and will remain active every step of the way.
