The festivities are round the corner and it is time to celebrate Eid.

Eid-al-Fitr marks the end of the sacred month of Ramadan. Also known as “feast of breaking the fast”, Eid-al-Fitr is an important religious day celebrated by Muslims worldwide.
The Newly house of Assembly representing Ketu constituency (II), Hon. Wahab Haruna Egungbohun has called on Nigerians especially Muslim, to live in peace with one another to foster peace and national unity.

Egungbohun made the call while addressing people of his constituent shortly after he observed the Eid prayers at Ansarudeen Central Eid Ground, Ebute Igbo-Oro in ogun State on Tuesday.

He said that there was the need for everyone to ensure peaceful co-existence among themselves so as to ensure economic growth and development in the state.

According to him, no society or country can achieve any meaningful development or greatness in an atmosphere of chaos and mistrust.

Egungbohun used the occasion to call on `well-to-do’ Muslims in the society to continue to support the less-privilege to alleviate their sufferings.

His words“I want to use this occasion to call on wealthy individuals to continue to support the poor so as to alleviate their sufferings in the society.
